St Andrews

St Andrews is a beautiful and unusual seaside town which mixes together medieval ruins, professional golfers, windy coastal scenery and a university that sees wealthy English undergraduates rubbing shoulders with Scottish theology students. Although St Andrews was once the ecclesiastical centre of Scotland, both its cathedral and castle are now in ruins and the town is more famous for its golf.
